Strawberry cold foam is a light, creamy topping made by frothing milk, heavy cream, strawberry jam, and a splash of vanilla until it’s thick, fluffy, and perfectly airy. It’s spooned right over iced coffee, cold brew, or matcha, creating a sweet, fruity layer on top that slowly melts into your drink with every sip. How to Make Strawberry Cold Foam
This recipe makes about ½ to ¾ cup of cold foam, which is perfect for topping 1-2 iced drinks!

Step 1: Add milk, heavy cream, strawberry jam, and vanilla extract to a small jar or frother cup/jar.

Step 2: Froth using a handheld frother for 20-40 seconds until thick and foamy. If you don’t have a frother, seal the jar tightly and shake vigorously until the mixture thickens.

Strawberry Cold Foam
- ¼ cup milk of choice 2% will work or dairy-free( DF won't get as thick)
- 2 tbsp heavy cream or coconut milk, canned, Silk also has a DF heavy cream that works amazing
- 2 tbsp strawberry jam store-bought or homemade, listed below
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Garnish with strawberry slices
Strawberry Jam
- 8 oz strawberries hulled + chopped
- 1/3 cup granulated white sugar sub coconut sugar or granulated monk fruit for lower sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp water just to start cooking
Matcha Latte
- 1 Tablespoon Ceremonial Grade Matcha
- ⅓ Cup Hot Water
- ¾ Cup Milk of Choice I used 2% milk
- 3 -4 tbsp strawberry jam (I added so much here so it looks layered on bottoms
- 1 serving strawberry cold foam
Coffee Latte
- 2 2 espresso
- ¾ Cup Milk of Choice
- 2-3 tbsp strawberry jam
Instructions
Strawberry Cold Foam
- Add milk, heavy cream, strawberry jam, and vanilla to a small jar or frother cup. Froth with a handheld frother (or shake in a sealed jar) for 20–40 seconds until thick and foamy. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed. Spoon or pour over iced coffee or matcha.
Strawberry Jam
- Add strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water to a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until bubbling and strawberries soften. Mash as it cooks and simmer 12–18 minutes. Cook until thick and jammy (coats a spoon). Cool completely, it will thicken more as it sits

- Add the matcha powder to a small bowl along with the hot water. Whisk for 1-2 minutes, until the mixture is completely smooth and free of clumps.
- Add the strawberry jam to the bottom of a glass, then fill the glass with ice. Pour in the milk of your choice, followed by the matcha and top with the strawberry cold foam and garnish with a strawberry slice.
