My Chili Lime Cashews are out of this world delicious and truly jaz up a boring cashew. They almost taste too good to be Whole30, Paleo and Keto compliant…healthy never looked or tasted so good!! If you are completing a Whole30, I recommend these to keep on hand as a great emergency snack.
How To Serve These Cashews?
These are the perfect crunchy addition to a salad or protein bowl. I also love to grab a handful when my energy is zapped and I need a little something extra. Not only do they serve as a tasty topping or great snack, but they are an amazing appetizer to serve at your next football party, wedding or family gathering.
Are these Chili Lime Cashews spicy?
These cashews are not overly hot and just the right amount of spice. They are mild enough that my 6 year old eats them and loves them. I honestly love any kind of cashew, but these will visit you in your dreams. I don’t have adequate words to describe just how amazing they are.
When they come right out of the oven I love to sneak a few because I have a hard time waiting until they cool all the way. If there are any leftovers, which most of the time they are gone within the first 5 minutes, I will store in a mason jar or airtight glass Tupperware container. I usually find they stay good for up to a week.
What is Tajin Seasoning?
Tajin seasoning, it is super cheap and available at Aldi, Walmart or Target. It is also WHOLE30 COMPLIANT! The only ingredients are chili peppers, salt, dehydrated lime juice, and silicon dioxide. This seasoning is great on literally everything. I will use it on fruit, veggies and even to rim my margarita glass.

I love Chili Lime flavor. Definitely going to have to try these
I made these on a whim after finding the large jar of cashews on sale at Costco. My husband had one bite and within a matter of days, the whole jar was gone! So delicious and easy to make. Will be a staple during the holiday, entertaining season!
Did you use raw or roasted cashews?
Raw. I will add in the notes
Omg. These are awesome! I made a big batch to have during this January whole30, and I just can’t get enough. My kids love them too! Great recipe, thank you!
I am so happy to hear this. I have to really practice self control when I make a big batch.
Made these this weekend and they are amazing! Perfect amount of flavoring to make my snacks more interesting and break up food boredom! Also super easy and fast!
Thanks Becky for the kind review. Snacks are so important aren’t they? When I find something that is healthy and so satisfying in taste, I don’t seem to eat as much. Easy….PEEZY is my goal always:-)
I love cashews and these have been on my “to-make” list for about a month now. I used dry roasted cashews because that is what I had on hand. They turned out great! I love the chili lime kick and my son enjoyed them too. They will be great to snack on right after school so I’ll stay out of the kids snacks that are sitting around my pre-k classroom.
I am so happy to hear this. Thank you for trying.
Could you use this recipe for almonds as well? Thank you!
For sure!
Wonderful recipe! I added some lime zest and red pepper flakes to give it more zing and spice. Great snack and also to give away.
Oh that’s a great idea. So happy you love it
My cousin made these for our ladies’ beach trip and they were amazing! She used a mix of cashews and almonds. I love the tang and mix of flavors, its such a nice way to add variety to nuts without making them sweet. I cannot wait to make these myself.
So thrilled to hear the recipe was a huge success. Thanks Janelle for you kind words of support.
