What Makes This Recipe Great

Recently I’ve been on a cocktail/mocktail kick (see this Blue Hawaiian, this Frosted Strawberry Gin Cocktail, and this Pineapple Mojito Mocktail, just to name a few!).

My newest obsession: Vodka Cherry Limeade! This vodka cocktail is filled with all the flavors of summer in one delicious drink. It’s perfectly sweet, deliciously tart, and super easy to throw together in a large pitcher or an individual drink.

Plus, it’s easy to remove the alcohol to make it a kid-friendly, refreshing cherry limeade beverage for kids and non-drinkers alike. It’s filled with juicy cherry flavor, a tart and sweet citrus twist of lime, maraschino cherries, and lemon-lime Olipop (or your favorite soda of choice).

An easy-to-sip, crisp, and refreshing drink for hot summer days, warm nights, and all the vacations, camping trips, and beach days in between.

Ingredients Notes

recipe ingredients in small bowls and labeled.
  • vodka: You can use your favorite easy-drinking vodka or try Svedka cherry limeade flavored vodka for some extra fun cherry limeade flavor.
  • frozen cherries: I used frozen cherries because they give it the cold, slushy texture with the ice. But you can use fresh cherries if desired. Don’t forget to remove the seeds!
  • fresh lime juice
  • lemon-lime soda: I used Olipop, but feel free to use your favorite.
  • simple syrup or Agave nectar: This is for sweetness. You can always substitute this for maraschino cherry juice from the jar as well.
  • ice
  • lime wedges and maraschino cherries or fresh cherries for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Add everything to a blender and blend on high speed for 30 seconds. Pour over ice and garnish with a cherry and lime slice.
