Y’all, this week’s flavor drop is bringing some serious fun to your hydration game. If you’ve been loving my all-natural, Gatorade-inspired drinks, you’re going to flip for this one. We’re making a Cotton Candy Grape & Strawberry Electrolyte Drink that tastes like a treat but fuels your body like a pro.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
It’s the perfect combo of fruity, floral, and slightly tangy. And best of all? It’s made with clean, whole ingredients and zero artificial dyes or syrups. Whether you’re refueling after a workout or just trying to drink more water during these hot Southern days, this sipper’s got your back.
After sharing 11 other flavors in this series, I’m thrilled to keep the momentum going. And if you missed any, don’t worry – I saved them all in my “Sports Drink” highlight on Instagram!
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Coconut Water: This is the hydration hero. Rich in natural electrolytes like potassium, it’s light, refreshing, and helps replenish what your body loses when you sweat.
- Cotton Candy Grapes: These sweet little gems taste just like their name. They add a playful, candy-like flavor without needing any artificial flavors.
- Lime Juice: Brings in a bright, tart twist that keeps the drink from becoming too sweet and helps support absorption of those electrolytes.
- Salt: Just a pinch of mineral-rich salt (I love Celtic Sea Salt) helps balance hydration and replace sodium lost through sweat.
- Honey or Maple Syrup: A drizzle adds natural sweetness and rounds out the fruit flavors.
- Strawberries: Blended into a purée, they create a beautiful base and give a burst of summer flavor and color.
How to Make This Cotton Candy Grape and Strawberry Gatorade
Step 1: In a wide-mouth jar, use an immersion blender to blend the strawberry purée ingredients (strawberries, lime juice, and sweetener) until smooth. Set aside.
Step 2: In a separate blender, combine the coconut water, cotton candy grapes, lime juice, salt, and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
Step 3: Fill two glasses with ice and spoon about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of strawberry purée into the bottom of each glass.
Step 4: Slowly strain the cotton candy grape mixture over the strawberry purée to create a layered effect.
Step 5: Stir before sipping and garnish with a strawberry wedge and a few fresh grapes, if desired.
