Cotton Candy Grape and Strawberry Gatorade

We’re making a Cotton Candy Grape & Strawberry Electrolyte Drink that tastes like a treat but fuels your body like a pro! It’s the perfect combo of fruity, floral, and slightly tangy. And best of all? It’s made with clean, whole ingredients and zero artificial dyes or syrups.

Ingredients

Main Drink:

  • 2 ½ cups coconut water can substitute with filtered water or decaf green tea, but coconut water is ideal for hydration
  • 1 ½ cups cotton candy grapes
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ¼ - ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 - 2 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

Strawberry Purée:

  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  • In a small blender or jar, blend the strawberries, lime juice, and maple syrup (or honey) until smooth. Set the purée aside.
  • In a separate blender, combine the coconut water, cotton candy grapes, lime juice, salt, and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
  • Fill two glasses with ice and spoon the strawberry purée into the bottom of each glass.
  • Slowly pour the coconut-grape mixture over the top for a layered look.
  • Stir before sipping, and garnish with fresh strawberries or grapes if you’d like.
  • In a wide-mouth jar, use an immersion blender to blend the strawberry purée ingredients (strawberries, lime juice, and sweetener) until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a separate blender, combine the coconut water, cotton candy grapes, lime juice, salt, and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
  • Fill two glasses with ice and spoon about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of strawberry purée into the bottom of each glass.
  • Slowly strain the cotton candy grape mixture over the strawberry purée to create a layered effect.
  • Stir before sipping and garnish with a strawberry wedge and a few fresh grapes, if desired.
