Keto Matcha Latte

Sometimes my body needs a break from coffee, so I turn to my creamy Keto Matcha Latte that is filled with nutritious and healthy ingredients. My body craves this warm and cozy drink usually a few times a week. Not only does it tastes good, but it is one of the prettiest drinks, I love the creamy green color with the frothy Nutpods.

I love adding matcha to my diet because it is has a lot of health benefits. Matcha is high in catechin called EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), which is believed to have cancer-fighting effects on the body. Studies have linked green tea to a variety of health benefits, like helping to prevent heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and cancer, and even encouraging weight loss. These are all great reasons to enjoy matcha even more.

What’s the purpose of adding collagen to my drinks?

I always add collagen not only to my coffee but also my matcha latte. Collagen makes this latte extra creamy along with delivering a ton of health benefits. Matcha Latte

A creamy and delicious latte that is full of healing ingredients that does a body good. It is Whole30, Keto and Paleo compliant along with being dairy and gluten-free.
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 1 minute
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients  

  • 2 scoops Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen *See notes for other ideas if you don't have this specific item
  • 2 cups hot almond or coconut milk unsweetened
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp French Vanilla Nutpods ,frothed
  • 1 Scoop collagen Only if you are not using Matcha tea that doesn’t have collagen

Instructions 

  • Heat up the milk and add all the ingredients except for the Nutpods to a high-speed blender and blend on high for 20 seconds.
  • Pour the matcha latte into 2 coffee mugs.
  • Froth the French Vanilla Nutpods and pour on top of the latte.
  • Add a dash of cinnamon to each latte and enjoy!

Notes

*If you want to use regular matcha powder use 1 1/2 tsp for each cup as a substitute
