Why This DIY Electrolyte Drink Works

Instead of artificial dyes and sweeteners, we’re sticking to six real ingredients that each bring something special to the table!

I’ve been having so much fun creating better-for-you takes on classic sports drinks, and you’ve been loving them too! Between the peach blackberry, strawberry kiwi, orange, pineapple pomegranate, and blueberry flavors, this week’s lemon-lime flavor drop might be the most nostalgic yet.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Coconut Water: Nature’s electrolyte powerhouse. Coconut water is packed with potassium and a touch of natural sweetness to keep things balanced and hydrating.
  • Aloe Vera Juice: A crisp, cooling base that’s loaded with minerals and antioxidants. It brings a clean finish and supports gut health, too.
  • Lemon: Fresh and tart, lemon adds that signature citrus pop while giving the drink a dose of natural vitamin C.
  • Lime: Slightly sharper than lemon, lime brings the zing and balances the sweetness.
  • Salt: Just a pinch brings real electrolyte benefits and mimics that classic sports drink flavor without overpowering the citrus.
  • Honey or Maple Syrup: A touch of natural sweetness to smooth out the tang and give your body a little fuel.

Step 2: Blend until smooth.

Step 3: Pour over ice through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp.

Step 4: Garnish with lemon and lime slices. Sip and enjoy!
