Hibiscus Paloma Punch Homemade Gatorade

Stay hydrated the natural way! This Hibiscus Paloma Pumch Homemade Gatorade blends coconut water, fresh grapefruit juice, hibiscus tea, and a touch of maple syrup for a refreshing, electrolyte-packed drink
Servings: 1 drink

Ingredients  

Base

  • 1 1/ 2 cup coconut water can sub filtered water here or decaf green tea) However coconut water is the best option as it’s a natural electrolyte.
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 lime Juice
  • Pinch salt I use Celtic
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey divided

Tea Layer

  • 1 hibiscus tea bag
  • 1 cup cup water

Instructions 

  • Brew hibiscus tea, stir in 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup, and let cool.
  • In a glass, mix coconut water, grapefruit juice, lime juice, salt, and 1 tbsp maple syrup. Add ice to the glass.
  • Slowly pour 1/3 cup of the cooled hibiscus tea as the top to layer. Garnish with a grapefruit wheel and lime wedge!
