Why You’ll Love This Cherry Limeade Gatorade Recipe

This one’s part of my weekly Homemade Gatorade series, and it might just be my favorite yet. Y’all have been loving these drops, especially the lemon lime, peach blackberry, strawberry kiwi, orange, pineapple pomegranate, and blueberry combos. And of course, I had to keep it going with a fresh Cherry Lime flavor that’s both hydrating and fun.

If you’ve missed any, don’t worry! I’ve saved them all in a highlight on Instagram so you can catch up or revisit a fave.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Coconut Water: This is the base that hydrates. It’s packed with natural electrolytes like potassium and is perfect for post-workout sipping or poolside lounging.
  • Aloe Vera Juice: Known for its hydrating and soothing properties, aloe adds a refreshing twist while supporting digestion and recovery.
  • Lime: Bright, citrusy, and just tart enough to balance the sweetness. This is where the “limeade” magic comes from.
  • Cherries: Naturally sweet and antioxidant-rich, cherries give this drink its rich flavor and deep pink color.
  • Salt: Just a pinch of mineral-rich salt helps replenish sodium lost through sweat. Essential for real hydration.
  • Honey or Maple Syrup: A touch of natural sweetness ties everything together without overpowering the fruit.

How to Make a Homemade Cherry Limeade Gatorade

Step 1: Add the coconut water, aloe juice, pitted cherries, peeled lime, salt, and sweetener to a blender.

Step 2: Blend until smooth.

Step 3: Pour the mixture over ice through a fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp.
