Cherry Limemade Gatorade-Inspired Drink
Do y’all remember those cherry limeades from Sonic? The ones we grew up slurping down during hot summer afternoons? This right here is my healthy, homemade version. It’s got all the tangy-sweet nostalgia, but with real ingredients and a natural electrolyte boost. Basically… it’s a cherry limeade, Gatorade-style.

- 1½ cups coconut water
- 1 cup aloe vera juice (or substitute with green tea, additional coconut water, or filtered water)
- 1 lime (peeled) if you like it strong, blend with the whole lime, if you want it lighter, just do the juice of one lime.
- 1/2 cup pitted cherries
- ¼ - ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup adjust to taste
Add the coconut water, aloe juice, pitted cherries, peeled lime, salt, and sweetener to a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour the mixture over ice through a fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp.
Garnish with fresh cherries and lime slices, then enjoy!
