Why You’ll Love This Blackberry Peach Gatorade

Y’all have been loving these homemade flavors, and I’m so grateful for all the sweet messages and comments. So far we’ve made strawberry, kiwi, orange, pineapple pomegranate, and blueberry. And I’m back again with another weekly flavor drop.

And here’s the best part: this week’s combo was dreamed up by my 7-year-old, Eleanor! She’s been in the kitchen helping with flavor ideas, and when she said “What about peach and blackberry?” – I knew we had something special.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Coconut Water: The base of the drink, naturally rich in potassium and electrolytes. It hydrates like a champ and tastes light and refreshing.
  • Aloe Vera Juice: Adds extra hydration and a subtle, earthy undertone. It’s also great for digestion and skin health.
  • Peach: Sweet and juicy, peaches bring in that classic summer flavor. I leave the skin on for added fiber and color.
  • Blackberries: Blended into a purée, blackberries add a deep berry flavor, gorgeous color, and a dose of antioxidants.
  • Lime Juice: Balances the sweetness with just the right amount of citrus zing and adds more electrolytes.
  • Salt: A small but mighty ingredient that helps replenish sodium lost through sweat.
  • Honey or Maple Syrup: Just a touch brings all the flavors together and adds natural sweetness without being overpowering.

How to Make It

Step 1: In a blender, combine the coconut water, aloe vera juice, peach, lime juice, salt, and honey or maple syrup. Blend until smooth.

Step 2: Add 2-3 tablespoons of the blackberry purée to the bottom of two glasses and fill with ice.

Step 3: Slowly strain the blended peach mixture over the blackberry purée for a beautiful layered effect.

Step 4: Stir gently before sipping or leave it layered for that wow factor. Garnish as desired and enjoy!
