Why You’ll Love This Recipe

Sometimes you want something cold, fruity, and actually satisfying to sip on, and this one delivers. It has that bold, nostalgic flavor you love but made in a way that feels lighter and more balanced, without any artificial ingredients.

It’s part of my Gatorade-inspired series, where I’ve been recreating fun, familiar flavors with real, simple ingredients. If you’ve missed a few, you can find many of them on my blog, along with even more saved in my Gatorade Series highlight on Instagram. You can watch this step-by-step video here.

I get asked about these jars all the time, so I figured I’d make it easy for you. I’ve linked them here because I use them daily for drinks and storing leftovers.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Coconut Water: The hydration hero. Naturally rich in electrolytes like potassium, it helps replenish what your body loses through sweat while keeping things light and refreshing. You can also sub filtered water or decaf green tea, but coconut water gives you the biggest electrolyte boost.
  • Fresh Kiwi and Strawberry: This combo brings a bright, naturally sweet flavor with just the right touch of tartness. It’s also packed with vitamin C and antioxidants to support hydration and overall wellness.
  • Lime: Adds a bright, tart kick that balances the sweetness and keeps the drink crisp and refreshing. Adjust based on how strong you like that citrus bite.
  • Salt: Just a pinch of mineral-rich salt (I love Celtic Sea Salt) helps replace sodium lost through sweat and supports proper hydration.
  • Honey or Maple Syrup: A drizzle of natural sweetness to round everything out. You can also swap in your favorite sugar-free sweetener if preferred.
