Why You’ll Love This Homemade Pineapple Pomegranate Gatorade

This bright and tropical blend is one of my favorites yet. It’s refreshing, gently sweet, and layered with bold, beautiful color. Perfect for summer days, post-workout hydration, or when you just need something a little extra to sip on.

Like the other homemade Gatorade recipes in this series, this one is made with real, nourishing ingredients. No artificial flavors, dyes, or added sugar here, just clean hydration you can feel good about.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Coconut water: Hydrating and rich in natural electrolytes like potassium.
  • Aloe vera juice: Known for its antioxidants and digestive benefits. Adds a light, cooling feel.
  • Pineapple: Naturally sweet and packed with vitamin C and anti-inflammatory enzymes.
  • Lime juice: Adds a refreshing citrus brightness and supports hydration with electrolytes.
  • Salt: Replenishes sodium lost through sweat and enhances the flavor profile.
  • Honey or maple syrup: A touch of natural sweetness to balance the tart and tropical flavors.
  • Pomegranate juice: Deep red color, antioxidants, and a burst of tart-sweet flavor. Makes a beautiful layered finish.

How to Make It

Step 1: Add the coconut water, aloe vera juice, pineapple, lime juice, salt, and sweetener to a blender. Blend until smooth.

Step 2: Fill glasses with ice, pour the pomegranate juice over the ice, then gently strain the blended pineapple Gatorade over the top to create layers.

Step 3: Stir gently before sipping, or leave it layered for a fun presentation. Garnish with pineapple and pomegranate arils if you’d like.

Clean, refreshing, and so simple. This homemade Gatorade is the kind of recipe you’ll crave all season long!
