All-Natural Pineapple Pomegranate Gatorade

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups coconut water
  • 1 cup aloe vera juice, decaf green tea or filtered water (or substitute additional coconut water)
  • 1 1/2 cups pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons pomegranate juice no sugar added
  • Pineapple slice and pomegranate arils for garnish

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine the coconut water, aloe vera juice/filtered water/OR decaf green tea, pineapple, lime juice, salt, and honey or maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
  • Fill two glasses with ice and pour the pomegranate juice over the ice. Slowly strain the blended pineapple Gatorade over the top for a layered look.
  • Gently stir before sipping, or serve as-is to show off the layers. Garnish with pineapple and pomegranate arils.
