Why You’ll Love This Homemade Blueberry Gatorade

This is the clean, feel-good drink you didn’t know you needed. Whether you’re heading to the gym, chasing the kiddos around, or just craving something cool and refreshing, this homemade Blueberry Gatorade is like a tall glass of wellness. It’s loaded with hydrating coconut water, antioxidant-rich blueberries, and aloe vera juice for a little extra digestive love.

And here’s the best part: no artificial dyes, no refined sugar, and no ingredients you can’t pronounce. Just whole-food hydration, you can blend up in minutes.

You can make it two ways- strain it for a smooth, light refresher, or add ice to the blender for a thick, frosty slushy. Either way, it’s a great-tasting drink that actually supports your body.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Coconut water: A natural source of potassium and electrolytes for hydration.
  • Aloe vera juice: Packed with antioxidants and supports digestion. Can be swapped with green tea or more coconut water.
  • Blueberries: Full of antioxidants, vitamins, and a beautiful natural color.
  • Lime juice: Brightens things up with a zesty citrus kick and adds electrolytes.
  • Salt: Helps replenish sodium lost through sweat.
  • Honey or maple syrup: A small drizzle adds natural sweetness.
  • Ice: For the slushy version.
  • Lime slices and blueberries: Optional, for garnish.

How to Make Homemade Blueberry Gatorade

  • Step 1: Add the coconut water, aloe vera juice, blueberries, lime juice, salt, and sweetener to a high-speed blender.
  • Step 2: Blend until smooth.
  • Step 3: For a regular version, strain through a fine mesh sieve and pour over ice. Garnish with lime slices and fresh blueberries.
  • Step 4: For a slushy version, add 1 to 2 cups of ice to the blender with all the ingredients. Blend again until smooth and icy. No need to strain!

It’s bright, energizing, and totally customizable. If you’re looking for a clean, colorful way to stay hydrated, this blueberry version might just be your new favorite!
