What is Better Than Sex Cake?
Better Than Sex Cake has a main layer of chocolate Devil’s food cake with holes poked throughout, topped with condensed milk, layered with crushed Heath Bar and topped with whipped cream along with caramel sauce, chocolate syrup and more crushed Heath Bar.
Pro Tips
- Let it cool:Make sure the cake is fully cool before adding the whipped topping. If you add it when the cake is warm it will melt the whipped topping and it won’t come out as good.
- Serve it chilled: I highly recommend adding it back to the fridge for a few hours once the topping is on. This cake is so much better once the flavors have soaked into the cake.
Ingredients for this Better Than Sex Cake
- Devil’s food cake (boxed mix)
- Whipped topping
- Heath bars
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Caramel sauce
- Chocolate syrup
HOW TO MAKE
Preheat oven to 350F. Mix the the Devil’s food boxed cake according to the directions. Transfer the cake batter to a 9×13 pan and bake according to the time given on the box. Remove the cake from the oven and immediately poke holes all over the top using a skewer or fork.
Once the cake has holes covering the cake evenly, pour the condensed milk over the top then follow with the caramel sauce. (Leave a little extra caramel sauce to drizzle over the top). Allow the cake to cool completely then refrigerate for at least an hour. Remove from the refrigerator and spread the whipped topping over the cake evenly.
Drizzle with the chocolate syrup and caramel sauce and finish with the chopped heath bar. Serve immediately or add back to the refrigerator.
In conclusion, whether you are looking for a cake to take to your next family gathering or a birthday surprise, you can’t go wrong with this Better Than Sex Cake. The creamy moist chocolaty flavor will leave you going back for more. This cake is easily in my top 3 favorite desserts of all time.

This recipe was super easy and suuuuper delicious! I couldn’t find a gluten free chocolate cake mix so I added chocolate pudding mix and cocoa and it was amazing. Definitely going to make this again!
I just made this for Father’s Day and it is so good!!! Everyone loved it. Not too rich for the kids and just the best, most moist cake. Can’t wait to make this again!
