Do you ever get frustrated with all the fake reels on Instagram? Yeah, me too! Here at The Peachy Life Podcast, I’m dedicated to bring you real life and not just the perfect moments you see on social media. Here we will discuss self-love, motherhood, marriage, mental health, PCOS, weight loss, weight gain, careers, friendships and all the moments in between.

I’ve never been a gal that feels totally comfortable in my own skin. It’s been quite the journey of finding myself and loving who I am today. I want to share all the ups and downs of real life and real struggle.

Additionally, I want to encourage each of you to follow your dreams. A few years ago I was able to leave my teaching job of 10 years to become a full time food blogger. I built Healthy Little Peach, a health and recipe blog that has grown bigger than I could have ever imagined.

Through hard work and dedication I was able to turn my passion into a full time career. The truth is, if I would have stuck in my “comfort zone” I would have never found my true potential and purpose. Not only was I able to leave my job, but my husband was able to leave his full-time job 2 years later.

Hard work and dedication can take you wonderful places if you believe in yourself and push the boundaries.

    Congratulations on launching your podcast. They have been a delight to listen to. I started following you on IG years ago and what a joy to see how you’ve grown. You’re my fav – for many reasons, but for sure because of your honestly, transparency and for sure your skills in the kitchen and in your home. You are stunning and its a delight to get to know you and your sweet family better. (El, Nora and Joel are the best!)
    I’ve always been thin, then middle age hit, then menopause. Sharing your experience doesn’t just impact the young women growing up, but the “gray hairs” who are struggling with not looking how they did when they were young. I know who I am in Jesus, and my identity is given by Him. But I have to say a lot of what you shared was good for this ‘pushing 60’ lady. I’ve found myself so focused on my weight and food – thanks for sharing. It was a timely reminder. Health is important to me. My love for sweets needs to come into balance – I want to be healthy, feel good about this stage in my life, grow old gracefully and set that example to other women.

    I love episode 2 of your podcast. It his home to me big time. I was A fat kid and fat into my teens and adult life. I also views myself as are people going to like me am I ever going to date. Thank you so much for sharing your childhood memories. I am now not the fat kid. I kick butt in the gym and have food freedom thanks to whole 30. You are beautiful inside and out.

  • Thank you for this amazing episode. I have always been a fat kid/adult. My lowest weight was 145 my highest weight was 230 it could of been even higher. I have caught this weight battle for my entire life. I’ve done a few rounds of whole 30 and found out what my body does not like. I got married almost two years ago and my weight was 207lbs which I did not know until I went to the doctors and saw my weight. This brought me back to a very dark place in my life (ex husband). I am now 158lbs. I am still fighting with my weight. I am counting calories because that is what works for me. I like what you said do what works best for you, and don’t beat yourself up if you mess up. Thank you for all of your hard work and sharing your resources.

  • Thank you for your vulnerability, Mac! Just listened to episode 10 about setting boundaries. While I had different issues with my Dad, I can completely relate. I too had to walk away to better take care of myself, mentally and emptionally. I’m sorry you had to go through that – no child ever deserves that from their parent. It sounds like you are a much stronger, resilient, brave, and compassionate woman today because of having gone through that. I hope you can take pride in where you started and who you are today. I appreciate your honesty and vulnerability and just wanted to share support and love. We need more of that in the world. XX
