Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup granulated Monk Fruit
  • 3/4 cup freeze dried strawberries

Instructions

  • Place the freeze-dried strawberries along with the sugar or granulated Monk Fruit into a coffee grinder or a food processor. I don't recommend adding it to a Ninja bullet because it will grind it into powdered sugar. Pulse the strawberries and sugar until everything is combined and it is a deep pink color.
  • Store in a glass jar and seal tightly.

Notes

Expert Tips

  • Add a little more freeze-dried strawberries to the sugar for additional strawberry flavor.
  • Make this recipe with a coffee grinder, food processor, or spice grinder. Do not use a Ninja Bullet to process it because it will turn it into powdered sugar.
  • Feel free to use regular sugar if you don’t need a low-carb option.

Serving Tips

  • Fruit: Sprinkle over fresh fruit or berries with a dollop of whipped cream. Or sprinkle it over my delicious fruit salad with ice cream for a special treat!
  • Baked Goods: Use this for cakes, cookies, donuts, sweet bread, or pies.
  • Cocktails: Jazz up your drinks with a strawberry sugar rim!
  • Warm Beverages: Add this to tea or sprinkle over hot chocolate.
  • Garnish: This pretty pink sugar will work as a garnish for pancakes, french toast, whipped cream, etc. It makes everything pretty!
  • Gifts: Give jars away for gifts for holidays, birthdays, teacher appreciation, etc.

Storage Tips

  • This strawberry sugar will last up to 6 months in a cool, dry spot in the pantry or spice cabinet.
