This homemade strawberry sugar is a low-carb sprinkle sugar that is perfect for cocktails, gifts, sugar cookies, frosting, cakes, french toast, and more!
Cuisine: American
Diet: Gluten Free
Keyword: keto, low carb, strawberry sugar
Servings: 16
- 1 1/4 cup granulated Monk Fruit
- 3/4 cup freeze dried strawberries
Place the freeze-dried strawberries along with the sugar or granulated Monk Fruit into a coffee grinder or a food processor. I don't recommend adding it to a Ninja bullet because it will grind it into powdered sugar. Pulse the strawberries and sugar until everything is combined and it is a deep pink color.
Store in a glass jar and seal tightly.
Expert Tips
- Add a little more freeze-dried strawberries to the sugar for additional strawberry flavor.
- Make this recipe with a coffee grinder, food processor, or spice grinder. Do not use a Ninja Bullet to process it because it will turn it into powdered sugar.
- Feel free to use regular sugar if you don’t need a low-carb option.
