Servings: 2 servings
- 2 cups coconut water * can sub filtered water here or decaf green tea. However, coconut water is the best option as it’s a natural electrolyte.
- 1 cup freshly squeezed blood orange juice
- 1/2-1 whole lime peeled ( depending on how strong you want the lime flavor)
- ½ tsp salt I use Celtic Sea Salt
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup or sub sweetener of choice
Add the peeled lime, coconut water, 1 tbsp maple syrup, and salt to a blender and blend on high speed for 20–30 seconds. In two glasses, pour in the blood orange juice and stir in 1 tablespoon of maple syrup in each. Fill the glasses with ice, then slowly pour the blended mixture over the top for a layered look. Garnish with a blood orange wedge
