Expert Tips

    • Non-Alcoholic Rum: If you want the rum flavor without any alcohol, there are companies that make “zero-proof” spirits. You can find these online, at grocery stores, and at specialty liquor stores. They are a great addition to a non-alcoholic drink because they make a super flavorful mojito without any of the effects.
    • Alcoholic Version: To make a pineapple strawberry mojito cocktail, simply add 2 oz of white rum or coconut rum to step 2 of the instructions.
    • Pitcher: To make a pitcher of this mojito mocktail that serves 6 people, follow these ingredients and steps:
    • 12-15 Large strawberries
    • ¾ cup diced pineapples
    • 30ish fresh mint leaves (more to taste)
    • 6 limes, juiced
    • 9 oz pineapple juice
    • 2 tbsp simple syrup
    • 24 oz lemon-lime Zevia or Sprite

Instructions

  1. Add the strawberries, pineapple, mint, and lime juice to a pitcher. Muddle together with the end of a wooden spoon until everything is broken up and combined.
  2. To this mixture, add the pineapple juice along with ice. Mix the glass with the Zevia with the other end of the wooden spoon. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and pineapple slices.
  3. Prepare 6 glasses with a strawberry sugar rim and ice cubes.
  4. Pour the mojito mocktail into the glasses, garnish with a sprig of mint and a pineapple slice, and serve!
