White Christmas Margaritas Recipe (Mocktail or Cocktail)

A festive twist on a classic margarita, these White Christmas Margaritas are full of creamy coconut flavor and garnished with lime wedges, cranberries, and a sprig of rosemary. Make your new favorite holiday cocktail or mocktail with this fun and tasty recipe.

Ingredients

Mocktail

  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk canned unsweetened
  • 1 oz. non-alcoholic tequila or regular tequila for cocktail
  • 2 tsp coconut syrup sugar-free
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Cranberries & Rosemary twigs for garnish
  • Crushed Ice
  • Olipop lemon-lime soda or sparkling water

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients except for the garnish and Olipop to a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. 
  • Add crushed ice to a 12 oz. glass and pour the shaken drink over the ice. Leave a little room at the top and add a splash of lemon-lime soda or sparkling water of choice.
  • Garnish with cranberries and fresh rosemary. Enjoy!

Notes

Expert Tips

  • If you are not dairy-free, feel free to substitute heavy cream for the coconut milk.
  • If you don't have coconut syrup, substitute simple syrup. 
  • Use crushed ice. It really is a game-changer for this cocktail. I love going to Sonic and buying a bag of their crushed ice for $2. If you don't have a Sonic nearby, add some ice to a bag and use a meat mallet to crush up the ice.
  • The best Non-Alcoholic Tequilas are Ritual and Free Spirits. Use their silver tequila or blanco options.

    • 4 cup coconut water
    • 4 cup coconut milk canned unsweetened
    • 8 oz. non-alcoholic tequila or regular tequila for cocktail
    • 16 tsp coconut syrup sugar-free
    • 8 tablespoon fresh lime juice
    • Cranberries & Rosemary twigs for garnish
    • Crushed Ice
    • Top each drink with Olipop lemon-lime soda or sparkling water

Serving Tips

Serve with a salt or sugar rim if desired. To rim your margarita glass, rub a lime wedge around the rim of an empty glass, then dip into a shallow plate of coarse salt or sugar (for extra sweetness!). Then, fill the glass with ice and the contents of the holiday margarita. 
Roll the cranberries in lime juice and sugar for a pretty garnish or make my candied cranberries recipe to make an even more festive cocktail. 
Garnish with fresh rosemary to give this winter cocktail a little extra holiday taste and feel.
