Ingredients

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts ends trimmed and cut in half
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 1/2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add the prepared brussels sprouts along with the 2 tbsp of olive oil, nutritional yeast and salt/pepper.
  • Give the whole bowl a big toss until the olive oil and nutritional yeast completely coats the sprouts.
  • Turn the air fryer to 380F and set the timer for 15 minutes.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and add in the prepared sprouts. Make sure not to over crowd the sprouts in the basket. If you overcrowd them they will not get crispy and cook correctly.
  • At the 7 minute mark, remove the basket and give it a good shake. After you shake, spray the sprouts with some more cooking spray so they don't dry out too much.
  • Place the basket back into the air fryer and cook until the 15-18 minute mark. This will depend on the . I like to take mine out around 15 minutes.
  • Once cooked, transfer the crispy brussels sprouts into a serving dish along with some homemade ranch for dipping.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • SET A TIMER: Make sure to set a timer so you don't forget to toss the sprouts at the 7 minute mark.
  • Double the Recipe: If you are wanting to double this recipe, you will more than likely need to cook in 2-3 different batches to ensure even cooking.
  • The Air Fryer I use: 5 Quart GoWise Air Fryer and love it.
  • Leftovers: If you have left overs, store in an air tight container. To reheat, add to the air fryer on 350F for 4 minutes or so.
