Ingredients

Main Drink

  • 2 ½ cups coconut water – natural electrolytes + potassium * can sub filtered water here or decaf green tea However, coconut water is the best option as it’s a natural electrolyte.
  • 1/2-1 whole lime peeled (if you like it strong, do a whole peeled lime, do a half for less of a punch)
  • •2 tbsps toasted coconut chips
  • ¼ –½ tsp salt – I use Celtic Sea Salt
  • 1-2 tbsps honey or maple syrup

Grape Purée

  • 1 1/4 cup purple or red grapes
  • 2 tbsp no sugar added grape juice
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine coconut water, toasted coconut chips, peeled lime wedge, salt, and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
  • Add 1/2 cup of grape purée to the bottom of two glasses filled with ice. Slowly strain the coconut mixture over the top for a pretty layered look.
  • Stir and garnish with a lime wedge and grapes!
  • In a wide-mouth jar, blend the grape purée ingredients (grapes, grape juice, and sweetener) using an immersion blender until smooth. Set aside.
  • In a separate blender, combine the coconut water, toasted coconut chips, peeled lime, salt, and sweetener. Blend until smooth.
  • Fill two glasses with ice and add about 1/2 cup of grape purée to the bottom of each.
  • Slowly strain the coconut mixture over the grape purée to create a layered effect.
  • Stir gently before sipping and garnish with a lime wedge and fresh grapes, if desired.
