What Makes This Recipe Great

Fruit and cookies are so much better dipped in something. My original Keto Fruit Dip was such a hit in my house that I decided to come up with another dessert dip. This time, I went for a Fall pumpkin-spiced flavor, and I must say it is addicting! This fluffy Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip is the perfect sweet appetizer or dessert for any gathering or party.

Make it even more fun by serving it inside a hollowed-out pumpkin and placing it on a beautiful platter with fruit and cookies. This dip is keto, dairy-free, vegan, and paleo. Choose your favorite accouterments according to dietary needs and preferences.

Ingredient Notes

  • dairy-free cream cheese: I used the Kite Hill brand. Feel free to use regular dairy if desired.
  • dairy-free whipped topping: You can find this in the freezer section in most grocery stores. If you’re not dairy-free, feel free to use a regular version.
  • canned pumpkin puree: Use plain pumpkin puree, not the pumpkin pie filling!
  • vanilla extract
  • Swerve powdered sugar: This is a zero-carb, zero-calorie powdered sugar swap that I love. It tastes the same but is a healthier alternative. Use regular powdered sugar if desired.
  • pumpkin pie spice: This is a spice blend that is easy to make at home or find in stores. It’s a mix of ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground cloves, allspice, and ginger.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. To a large mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients except for the whipped topping. Combine using a handheld mixer.
  2. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Chill the pumpkin dip in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes or until serving.
  4. Serve with fresh fruit and cookies. If keto, serve with fresh berries.

  • Most grocery stores carry vegan whipped cream in the freezer section. I know Whole Foods, Mama Jeans, and most all health food stores will carry this item.
  • If you are not dairy-free, feel free to substitute the same measurements for regular whipped topping and regular cream cheese.

Recipe FAQs

How to serve this dip in a pumpkin?

I use a small pumpkin and hollow out the inside by removing the seeds and pulp. Then, I pat the inside dry with a paper towel and pour the mixture in. Easy peasy.
