Plain black coffee is great, but blending it into a sweet and cold drink is even better. My new Keto Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino allows you to have your cake and eat it to. It’s healthy, while being extremely satisfying and sweet.

This is a sponsored blog post by Vitamix, however all opinions remain my own.

Keto Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino

The main reason I love this recipe is because it takes minimal ingredients and can be whipped up in no time at all. Being able to have a coffee shop drink in the comfort of my own home is so important to me. Not only does it save time, but it also saves MONEY.

Are the crushed peppermints compliant on top of this Keto Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino?

Regular peppermints do have carbs and sugar, so for Keto and Paleo, I would recommend to steer clear. However, there are Keto and Paleo friendly options available if you are really wanting the crushed peppermints. Check out the ones I recommend below.

Keto Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino

By: Ashley McCrary
A creamy and satisfying Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino that has a coffee shop feel that can be made in the comfort of you home. It's Keto, Paleo and Dairy Free.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 1 frappuccino

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cold brew coffee
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 1/2 to 3 tbsp of Monk Fruit Sweetener
  • 1/8 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 1/2 cup ice
  • Coconut whipped cream
  • OPTIONAL: Top with coconut whipped cream chocolate chips and crushed peppermints for garnish (See notes)

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients into a high speed blender and blend on high for 30-40 seconds or until desired consistency.
  • Pour into a cup and garnish with chocolate chips and peppermint if desired.

Notes

If you do not have cold brew, feel free to use freshly brewed coffee and allow to cool completely.
If you are not a fan of Monk Fruit, feel free to use sweetener of choice. If you are not Keto and looking for a Paleo option, Maple Syrup or Honey is a great alternative.
Depending on how sweet you want your drink, you will use between 2 1/2 to 3 tbsp. For me, I love it sweet, so I used 3 tbsp of Monk Fruit.
For the dark chocolate chips for garnish, Lily's Chocolate is my favorite to use for Keto and Hu Chocolate for Paleo
The crushed peppermints for garnish is totally optional. It is very hard to find Paleo/Keto friendly peppermint. Here are two brands that are compliant if you want to add some to the top. Thrive Market, Amazon
