Ground Taco Beef

If you are looking to stop food waste and to save money, use Ground Taco Beef. I love making 4 pounds of taco beef and using it for different meals throughout the week.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds Ground Beef
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat, along with a tbsp of olive oil.
  2. Add the Ground Beef to the skillet and brown for about 8-9 minutes or until meat is cooked through. Drain fat.
  3. Add the tomato sauce along with taco seasoning to the beef. Allow to simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes.

  • Double the recipe to make 4 pounds of Taco Beef
