Ingredient Notes

ingredients for the mocktail

This post is sponsored by Revl Fruits but all opinions remain my own.

  • Canned coconut milk: Adds a creamy, luscious texture that balances the fruity flavors. Substitute heavy cream if you prefer a richer taste if you’re not dairy-free.
  • Non-alcoholic tequila: Brings a fun, cocktail-like vibe without the booze.
  • Lime juice: Adds a zesty tang that cuts through the sweetness and brightens up the drink. Fresh-squeezed is always best! You could also try fresh lemon juice, pineapple juice, or even peach juice for a little twist.
  • Sweetener: Sweeten the mocktail to your liking. You can use whatever sweetener you prefer here. For less sugar, I use powdered monk fruit but maple syrup works beautifully too.
  • Revl Juices Truly Tropical: I love this brand because it’s 100% juice with a splash of coconut water. Also has no added sugar, no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives!
  • Sparkling water-lime flavored (optional): Adds a refreshing fizz and enhances the fruity notes. Optional but so fun!
  • Tajin: The perfect seasoning to rim your glass, adding a bold, tangy, and spicy flair that perfectly complements tropical flavors.

Add the Revl Juices Truly Tropical along with the non-alcoholic tequila and lime juice to a cocktail shaker.

Add the coconut milk and your preferred sweetener of choice. Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds.

Rim a glass with lime juice and Tajin seasoning. Fill it to the top with ice.

Strain the mocktail over ice and top with sparkling water if desired.

Recipe Tips

Chill Your Ingredients: Make sure your Revl Juice, coconut milk, and lime juice are cold before mixing. This helps create a crisp, refreshing drink right from the start.

Choose Your Sweetener Wisely: If you’re not using monk fruit, go for sweeteners that dissolve easily, like powdered erythritol or liquid stevia, to ensure a smooth texture.

Shake It Well: Shaking vigorously for at least 20 seconds emulsifies the coconut milk, creating a creamy, frothy texture that makes the drink feel indulgent.

Make it Extra Creamy: If you prefer a richer drink, use full-fat coconut milk or sub with dairy-free heavy cream alternatives. Feel free to use regular heavy cream if you are not dairy-free.

Crushed Ice for the Win: Serving it over crushed ice instead of regular cubes makes it feel more like a tropical cocktail and keeps it chilled longer.

Rim with Tajin: This is hands down the perfect seasoning to rim your glass, adding a bold, tangy, and spicy flair that perfectly complements tropical flavors. You can find this at most grocery stores in the spice or in the international aisle.

What if I don’t have non-alcoholic tequila?

You can skip it entirely or use regular tequila for a spirited version.

What else can I use to rim the glass instead of Tajin?

You can use granulated monk fruit, sugar or salt.
