Ingredient Notes

ingredients to make this recipe: frozen corn, heavy cream, butter, salt/pepper, cream cheese, & chives.

Frozen Corn: This recipe is super easy to make with frozen corn. Frozen corn is super budget friendly and easy to keep on hand!

Butter: You can also use vegan butter to make this dip dairy-free.

Cream Cheese: Use your favorite brand. I typically prefer Philadelphia’s chive & onion version. If dairy-free, use Kite Hill’s chive and onion cream cheese alternative.

Heavy Cream: If you need this to be dairy-free, Silk makes an excellent non-dairy heavy cream replacement that works super well!

Salt/Pepper: Season to taste.

Fresh Chives: I like to put fresh chives on top for garnish. This is optional.

Recipe Step by Step

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter and corn. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until corn has cooked through.
  2. Add in the cream cheese and heavy whipping cream until combined. Allow it to simmer for 4 minutes until the cream cheese is melted and warm.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with fresh chives.
